Unique and Dynamic Speaker, Author, Entrepreneur, and Natural Stylist Kim Seals have set a new educational standard for hair care. As a young teenager growing up in Paterson,New Jersey, she watched her Aunt endure the wonderful and challenging experience of attending Beauty College. Kim new right away that she wanted to be apart of this industry. Through routine practice on her Aunt’s mannequins she taught herself to braid. With her uncontrollable desire and passion she started braiding the hair many of friends and kids her neighborhood. Kim’s multi-talented skills and fearless personality aspired her to become one of the best natural stylist in her hometown, which opened the heavenly doors for her journey into hair care. After High School, Kim moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to attend Barber Scotia. After obtaining her AS Degree in Accounting, Kim transferred to NC to attend UNCC. During her years of college she began working as a natural stylist in local salon then moving on to a local barbershop. Cultivating her talents and combining her college education with her hair care background led her to open K&S Braiding Gallery, Inc. in 2001.
In 2004, Kim dissolved the company and joined the team of who she considers to be the “Michael Jordan’s of Barbering” No Grease, Inc. During this transition with her uncontrollable desire to do hair, train, and educate Kim founded K&S Consultant Group, Inc. As one of the leading connoisseurs of education, has led Kim to be a gifted icon in the industry of hair care. The continuing education classes are taught in English and Spanish in different cities across the Carolinas.
Accumulating Wealth in Hair Care and Building an Empire in Hair Care are accredited by the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Arts. Kim has made a profound impact through her teaching skills in today’s stylist and many stylist in the years to come. Inventor of some of the most innovative techniques on increasing profits can be manifested by many of today’s stylist in the state of North Carolina.
K&S Consultant Group, Inc. has been responsible for the many changes in the education of hair care. We too, successfully worked with Soft Sheen-Carson on their 2006 Fall Trend Release & Educational Tour in Charlotte, North Carolina. As well as the Soft Sheen-Carson Salon Repair class held in March of 2007 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Kim Seals has managed to convey a true meaningful message and change the mindsets of hundreds of stylist and others. She has made a career path for herself and her company that is unlimited and truly blessed.
